The Tree Society of Creemore will hold its very popular Silent Auction this year on Saturday, May 17 at Station on the Green.
Originally planned as part of the recently cancelled Home and Garden Show, the new timing and location will coincide with the opening of the Farmers’ Market and the village-wide Garage Sale. The event will include a garage sale table as well. The Silent Auction/Garage Sale will be open to bargain hunters from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Back again this year is the special auction of watering cans that are painted by local artists who have donated their time and talents to turn them into works of garden art (see photo on home page).
The Society is still accepting donations of new and lightly used household articles for the Silent Auction/Garage Sale event. All items in good condition are welcome and a tax receipt will be issued for any item sold for $20 or more.
If you have articles you wish to donate to the auction, please call Anne Marie Morrey at 705-466-3271, Tracey Kolowska at 705-466-6317, Marilyn Chenier at 705-466-6864 or Thom Paterson at 705-466-6321. Anyone who is interested in helping set up or stage the auction on Saturday or Sunday is encouraged to call as well.
Help us make this year’s Silent Auction/Garage Sale the biggest ever! Join us at the Station on the Green and together we can continue to “green up” Creemore!
