The Stayner Kinsmen held their annual duck race on Saturday, May 2.
With great weather many people came out and enjoyed the races, the music and dancers.
The winners were: 1st place – Ed Duits, Stayner; 2nd place – Shawna Wyant, Stayner; 3rd place – Holly Duroin, Stayner; 4th place – Larry Culham, Stayner; 5th place – Mary Robins, Stayner; 6th place – Gayle Gordon, Stayner.
The Lazy Duck award (last duck finishing) went to Kendal Neilly of Stayner.
In the corporate race, the award for the fastest duck went to Fernwood Farms.
In the people’s choice category, 1st place: Jerry’s Body Shop (Adrian Verstegen); 2nd place: A 2 B Haulage (John Gascho); 3rd place: Pumps Plus (Steve Wilkinson).
