A free car seat clinic will be held at the fire station in Nottawa on Monday, Nov. 16, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Car crashes kill more children than any other injury.

When children use car seats, they are well protected and less likely to be severely injured.

If you have a new car seat it is important to sit down and read the car seat instructions as well as the child restraint section of your vehicle owner’s manual. As all car seats and vehicles are made differently, this is the best way to ensure that you use the seat correctly.

Clearview Fire Station 6 is located at 95 Batteaux Rd. in Nottawa.

Please come with your car seat installed to the best of your ability and bring your vehicle owner’s manual, car seat instructions and your questions.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact Clearview Fire and Emergency Services 705-428-6230, ext. 401.

This clinic is sponsored by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit and Clearview Fire and Emergency Services.
