The fifth annual Michael Tupling Memorial Tournament raised $7,000 this year to purchase and install netting around the ice surface at the Honeywood Arena. Eight teams participated in this year’s tournament, held Dec. 4 and 5 at the Honeywood Arena. Over the last five years, $35,000 has been donated back into the community. The Michael Tupling Memorial Fund was established to encourage youth involvement and leadership in the community. All the proceeds from this tournament go towards recreation activities, community projects, and help provide financial support for youth in the North Dufferin community who may not otherwise have the financial resources to participate.
