Editor:
I was very disappointed in your editorial endorsing the development by Steer at Cashtown Corners. With so little notice, few members of the community were able to attend the public meeting and your editorial does not tell the whole story.
You may recall from our presentation, that my husband and I wholeheartedly support the expansion of Steer, providing even more jobs for Clearview. Our main concern is that this industrial development does not belong at one of the gateways to the village, creating larger volumes of transport truck traffic, at an already busy intersection. It is hoped that council will endeavour to help Steer find a more suitable location for this valued community business, without having to rezone agricultural land. This is why plans are created in the first place.
Marnie Hillier,
Creemore.
