Editor:
Please let it be known that my husband Oscar and I do not disagree with immigration or bringing in refugees.
After all, I am an immigrant myself. My family came to this country seeking a better life. We were successful and integrated into Canadian society.
Having said this, and knowing of the atrocities that have happened around the world and in our own country, is it not then prudent that we check out potential immigrants and refugees?
Isn’t that enough said?
It is my understanding that we are all immigrants in Canada, some sooner, some later.
