Smith, Timothy Adam  

Nov. 17 1956 – April 28,  2017

Tim died in hospital following a single vehicle accident.  For the past four years He has battled cancer, successfully recovering from major surgery and radiation treatments but experienced severe problems with chemotherapy medications.

Predeceased by his father, Jack Smith;  survived by his mother, Joyce Smith and siblings Bonnie Johnson (Charlie), Randy Smith (Cathy), Gloria Glockling (Neil), Peggy Smith (Tamie) and Penny Judson (Jeff).

The Smith family lived in New Lowell for over 40 years.  Tim attended the Stayner Collegiate, played midget hockey in Creemore.  He spent his adult years in Alberta, living in the Wetaskiwin area.  He worked in construction and eventually operated his own business as a pipeline welder.  He especially enjoyed his time working in the Northwest Territories, Northern Alberta and British Columbia.

Tim will be fondly remembered and missed by family and friends.  His cremated remains will be interred with his father’s in the cemetery at Sundridge Ontario near the Smith family summer cottage.  A family memorial service will take place at that time.
