Creemore Horticultural Society members Carol Ray (from left), Alice Spyrc, Charlotte Vorstermans, Shari Long, Sharon McLellan, Gail Cocker and Pete Long planted a new experimental straw bale garden at the Hort Park Monday. Visitors will see potatoes, onions and leeks come up in the middle and heirloom tomatoes, Brussel sprouts, red cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant and beans in the straw border.
