Council has received notification of an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal regarding the township’s cannabis cultivation and production facilities Bylaw 21-78.
Councillors emerged from an in- camera session Monday to report council is takin the position to defend the appeal.
“Had a good discussion in camera with regards to this,” said Mayor Doug Measures.
Tribunal staff confirmed the appeal has been filed, however, as of presstime it has not been fully processed and details are not yet available.
