From the Hack: First wins for Teams Verstegen and McKay on Monday night with the goal of winning the Foodland Trophy.
Tight play by all teams made for an evenly matched first half on both sheets. The fifth end saw both Verstegen and McKay take commanding leads,
with Teams Millsap and Walker looking to redeem themselves next game.

From the Hack: Monday morning had Teams Walker and Bell securing victories. On Monday afternoon, Team Loranger managed a well-deserved win over Team Coulter. Team Loranger was one down coming home, without the hammer. Michael made a lovely takeout and roll behind cover with his last stone, to apply pressure on Ron. Unfortunately for Ron, the ice was unkind to him, and he wrecked on the guards as he tried to outdraw the counters. Team Loranger scored two for the win!
Wednesday morning, Jim, the lead for Team McDougall, placed all his stones perfectly, behind Team Loranger’s guards, allowing the back end to score easy points. Teams McDougall and Coulter won their games. Good curling everyone!
