We live between Duntroon and Stayner on County Road 91. The speed limit from Duntroon toward Stayner was reduced to 50 km/hr several months ago, and while there is adequate signage, there is very little policing.
Not a day goes by that there isn’t someone crowding right up to the back of my car while I am in that reduced zone, very, very close, obviously irritated that I am going so slowly. As soon as they can, they speed by, and often honk at me as if I am an obstruction, even trucks do this.
It’s very frustrating and, I feel, dangerous because shortly after the speed increases I have to slow again to turn into our driveway.
Maybe one of those flashing signs that say you are going too fast would be helpful, or maybe just more police to monitor the situation.
