The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) is excited to announce the return of the “Home for the Holidays” adoption campaign, from December 1 until December 23, 2022. Adoption fees for all cats will be reduced to just $50 and kittens $75. This is an opportunity to help reduce the number of cats in care at the GTHS and find them a loving home to call their own this holiday season.
“As the weather gets colder, we receive dozens of calls daily about stray cats needing shelter. This holiday adoption campaign is an excellent way to make space for cold and homeless cats, while simultaneously matching deserving cats with loving homes,” says Sonya Reichel, Executive Director of the GTHS. “We are so grateful to be part of a pet-loving community.”
For individuals interested in adopting a cat, here are the steps to take:
- Visit the ‘Adopt’ section on the official GTHS website: gths.ca, and select ‘Animals for Adoption’ from the drop down menu.
- Find a cat or kitten of interest.
- Come to the GTHS any day between 12:00pm-4:00pm until December 23rd to fill out an adoption application and meet with one of the amazing GTHS adoption counsellors, who will take you through the adoption process.
