A single vehicle collision was the cause of an area power outage on Monday, Sept. 18. The driver of the vehicle hit a hydro pole on Airport Road between Stayner and Cashtown Corners at 9:20 a.m. Police say the driver was not injured and no charges have been laid.

B&E at Mansfield ski club

Dufferin OPP are currently investigating a break and enter to a ski resort in Mulmur.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 18, Dufferin OPP responded to the report of an overnight break and enter at the ski club in Mansfield.

The suspect(s) broke into two buildings and stole two vehicles and several tools, including a 2007 black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (no licence plate) and a 2012 white Ford F-250 pick-up truck with licence plate number AT97036.
