Mill Street Trick-or-Treat

The village is planning Halloween festivities in support of the Creemore BIA’s Mill Street Trick-or-Treat, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, when businesses are encouraged to hand out candy and create an experience for trick or treaters.

The Creemore Echo’s annual Halloween Photo BOOth is happening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

An extraterrestrial has landed in Creemore and we’ve got the scoop. The Echo has learned that the landing site will be the subject of an investigation on Oct. 31. Visitors to the site are cautioned that the alien may be lurking nearby, but that means there is a good chance trick-or-treaters will be able to have a photo taken with the cosmic traveller.

Leading up to Halloween, Caroline McIntosh Real Estate is hosting a Halloween house decorating contest. Take a photo of your house, post it to social media, and tag @ carolinemcintoshrealestate with the hashtag #screemore2023. The winner will be drawn on Oct. 27 and the prize is tickets to the Murder at the Masquerade event at Station on the Green on Oct. 28.

Trail of Terror Haunted Maze

The 4th Annual Trail of Terror Haunted Maze at 23 George St. in Creemore, hosted by the de Ruiter family and friends on Oct. 31. For the younger children, the maze will be not- so-scary from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m. the maze will come to life with all of your darkest fears. Enter if you dare!

Maple Grove Farm Boo Bash

Witches and goblins take over the farm at Maple Grove Farm on Oct. 28 for a family-friendly Halloween party – spooky orchard walk, fortune teller, treat stations, spooky photo ops, campfire, pig races, admission to the pumpkin patch, unlimited wagon rides around the farm, corn maze, and scavenger hunt. Tickets: Adults 13 and older, $15; Youth, $10. Available at www.maplegrovefarm.ca/boobash and at the door if space available.

Shelburne Haunt in the Park

The Little Family presents: Haunt In The Park at Fiddlepark, 105 2nd Line, Shelburne.

Get the full scare from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 27, 28, and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 31. The Mini Boo is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 28

Admission is free, but non-perishable food donations or cash donations for the Shepherds Cupboard Food Bank are gratefully accepted.

Halloween Party

The Stayner Legion is hosting a Halloween Party from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 28. All are welcome. There will be a light lunch, prizes and lots of fun. Tickets cost $20 person or $35 per couple. Music by Green Rhino Rock and Roll Band. Costumes are optional.

Rosemont Haunted Hall

Open every weekend in October from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays, noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Wander through a witches’ coven, skeleton graveyard, tunnel of spiders, creepy carnival, and photo station.

Night at the Boo-seum!

The Simcoe County Museum’s Night at the Boo-seum is tailored to children aged three to 12. Between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. from Oct. 25-27. DJ ZomBEATz Monster Mash-up, Not-So-Spooky Halloween Mystery Tours, Boo-seum Exhibit, Spooktacular trick-or-treat craft, and enjoy a tasty Witches Brew. Adults, $8; youth and seniors, $8; children, $5, preschoolers and museum members get in free.
