The literary debate of the season took place at the Collingwood Public Library on Oct. 21, where a capacity crowd watched the contenders in the 14th annual Georgian Bay Reads stage a literary war between their five chosen books. Representing Collingwood Public Library, Gia Lynde (from left) was awarded the People’s Choice Award and the Georgian Bay Reads Award for Good Morning, Monster written by Catherine Gildiner. Also in contention was Michele McKenzie representing World of Wonders by Robertson Davies for Clearview Public Library.
