Police have arrested a man in connection with the arson investigation of two fires at a Collingwood tire shop.
Police officers first attended the scene of a fire at a business on Beachwood Road in Collingwood at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Nov. 13. They were called to a second fire at the same location at about 5:20 a.m. on Nov. 26.
As a result of an investigation, police arrested 20-year-old Stayner resident Gabriel Talbot and charged him with two counts of arson.
The accused was held for bail, appeared before Provincial Court on Dec. 2 and was released on conditions.
There were no injuries reported from either fire.
