With Game 15 now in the books, and sixth win a in a row, the Creemore Coyotes now look ahead to back-to-back games with the Minto 81’s.

“These are two very important games if we want to maintain our place in the standings,” says GM Tom Macham.

Creemore currently sits second in the 11-team league with 25 points.

Final score on Saturday was Creemore, 6, and Lucknow, 2.

Tickling the twine for Creemore was JD Falconer with a pair, Owen Heilemann and Austin Fischer each with singles.

Player of the game went to Alliston’s Jacob Vander Zaag who also notched a pair and played like a man possessed as he was involved in numerous scrums during the game. He was driving the net hard all night.

“Lucknow’s goalie and their defence corps didn’t like that very much,” chuckled Macham.

Getting his third win of the year between the pipes was Brendan Macham who had an easier night than normal stopping 21 of 23 shots sent his way. Creemore responded with 36 shots on the Lucknow tender.

Yotes are on the road on the 13th but back home for two games on the 20th and 21st.

The band Hog Back Road will make a second appearance in the booster club on Jan. 20. See you at the rink.
