The Clearview Public Library is resetting its hours for a six-month pilot project and we would like to invite you to check out what is happening as we introduce some special activities at the Stayner Branch, now open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
We are going to be a hive of activity with specific areas for the Board Games Club, which will include chess practice with visiting chess masters.
Bone up on your chess moves or practice what you have learned at the Chess Club (Friday nights starting Jan. 7. Free and family-friendly, from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Stayner Branch).
The Homework Club will take place in the Board Room where we will be serving hot chocolate and popcorn to those who wish to complete their school assignments in a quiet space.
Our special weekend edition of the Story Time Club hosted by Shannon Lougheed and her Reading Buddies will take place at 2 p.m. Join them for an hour of enchanting stories, interactive music and more fun surprises.
For those who prefer a more traditional library visit or just wish to read a new release in front of the fire, add a piece or 10 to our jigsaw puzzle in progress or complete the weekly Bingo Scavenger Challenge, please join us at this new time. We
look forward to seeing you!
