Creemore Curling Club’s ladies team won at the Quebec International Bonspiel Jan. 20-24. These ladies are the first all women curling team to win an event at the bonspiel. The ladies team is made up of Judith Crawford, skip (from second left); Gayle Millsap, vice; Marie Stephenson, co-lead; Ann Huskinson, second; and co-lead Nancy Keith.

From the Hack: Thursday’s game was a back and forth battle Verstegen vs. McKay. Rookie Ashley showed fine form and Abbey nailed every shot. Tied going into the last end, Jaz opted not to throw her last rock to secure the win. Monday was a fun jitney night since seven of the ladies were in Quebec City for the Quebec International Bonspiel.

From the Hack: On Monday, Teams Walker and Gallaugher managed wins against Teams Martens and Lambert, respectively. Wednesday had Team Loranger beating Team Walker and Team Lambert recovering from the loss on Monday to outscore Team Gallaugher. A number of spares helped out this week due to regular members attending a bonspiel in Quebec City. Good curling everyone!

From the Hack: Winning teams this week were teams Flack, Verstegen, Crevier and John Millsap.  50/50 winner was Andrew Millsap $55.  Feature match up was team John Millsap vs Dave Millsap with Team John Millsap coming out on top to remain undefeated.
