The owner of the recently opened Clearview Oil and Tires believes there is plenty of business to go around. From their location on County Road 9 at the end of Mill Street, they will be offering a range of auto services with no appointment needed.

Ram Nadesu has been operating Stallion Lube Express in Caledon for the past eight years and was looking for a location to expand his business. A realtor client of the Caledon shop alerted him to the space available for rent in Creemore and together with partner Shindi Singh, he opened Clearview Oil and Tires on June 1.

“Right now, it’s just me and my partner, plus the mechanic from Caledon who goes back and forth between the two locations. Eventually we’ll hire local staff to expand our hours,” said Nadesu.

Currently the shop is open Monday and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nadesu has observed that traffic on County Road 9 is heaviest after work, so he can foresee stretching the hours to 8 p.m.

Initially, Nadesu says, the focus will be on tire service and storage, oil changes, lights and detailing. Eventually, they will expand their offerings to include brake service. He has already had discussions with the new Flying Squirrel Motorcycle Company about offering services to their clients such as motor bike tire plugs.

Nadesu’s approach to customer service has made him successful in Caledon, and he looks forward to providing the same level of service at the new Clearview location.

“We treat people right and listen to their concerns,” he said.

Currently living in Shelburne, Nadesu said he loves the Clearview/Southern Georgian Bay region and would like to relocate here at some point. For now, he’s busy exploring the many local businesses and attractions, and making connections in the community.
