FERGUSON, Mary Alma (nee Dwinnell) – Died peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 85. Mary of Glen Huron, beloved wife of the late Murray Ferguson (2016). Loving mother of the late Bonnie (May 15, 2024), Marilyn (Phillip Seymour), Helen Allen and Ross. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Fred North), Erika (T.J. Sharer), Cassandra, Holly, Karla (Allan Thurman) and Jamie and great grandmother of Porschea, Duke, Isaac, Miley and Ember. Dear sister of Nora (the late John Knuff), Fred Dwinnell, Sally (the late George Sibbald), Patsy (Russel Wickens) and the late Brian Dwinnell. Mary will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. She was a kind woman with a constant smile upon her face. She made a life as a faithful farming wife and partner with Murray. She enjoyed knitting and loved to dote upon her grandchildren, Her fudge and biscuits were a favorite treat for many. Friends were received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 226, Stayner on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside ceremony was held at Stayner Union Cemetery on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11 o’clock.
