STACEY, Wilfred John “Wilf”
January 7, 1963 – October 14, 2024
Wilf of New Lowell, ON, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, ON on Monday, October 14, 2024. Wilf was born and raised in New Lowell, ON, and attended Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School. He and his family moved to Parry Sound where he attended Parry Sound High School, and met many of his lifelong friends. Wilf was hardworking in his windows and doors business, but his real passion was the cowboy way of life. He was an all around cowboy, and loved the adrenaline rush as he rode bulls and broncos. In 1993, he was the Ontario Rodeo Association Finals Champion and the Mac Lee Memorial winner. Wilf will be deeply missed by his rodeo and horse community. He was selfless and positive in every situation, and anyone who had the privilege to know him, loved him. Wilf was the beloved life partner of Heather MacEachern. Loving Father of Brandon Moyer (Candice), Joshua Moyer (Shaelyn), and Logan Hill (the late Chris). Loved deeply by his bonus children Hannah and Noah MacEachern. Dearly missed by all of his grandchildren. Sadly missed
by his sisters Venah Saulnier (Dan), Verle Croft (Chris), Shelley Wright (Brad), Sherry Kerr (Ian), and stepsiblings Jane Simpell and Jim Simpell (Ann). Predeceased by his parents Ross and Mary Stacey and his brother Patrick, Wilf will be sadly missed and forever remembered.

Friends may pay their respects, and visit with the family at the Steven R. Bridge Funeral Home, Angus, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery in Brentwood, followed by a luncheon at the New Lowell Legion.
